| Italia | |
|
This variety was obtained by crossing Bicane with Muscat de Hambourg. Italia is an excellent white table grape that keeps well during shipment. A little Italia is grown in France but it prefers the hotter climates of Italy, Spain, Portugal, several Balkan countries, and South America. Italia is susceptible to downy mildew, powdery mildew, and grape caterpillars. It may suffer from poor fruit set and shot berries under certain conditions. |
