INRA
developed this variety by crossing Cabernet-Sauvignon and Grenache.
It has relatively long canes and is not particularly susceptible to
disease. The bunches are large, with small grapes. Marselan wines are
very high quality: good structure, aromatic complexity, aging potential,
and excellent color. |
